1-Day Gorilla Tracking in Uganda

Embark on an incredible one-day adventure to Bwindi/Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, where you will have the opportunity to experience life-changing moments. A gorilla encounter is an experience that will be cherished forever! This trip is ideal for anyone in the Lake Bunyonyi area or nearby towns such as Kabale, Kisoro, Rubanda, Rukiga, Kanungu and Butogota who wishes to see the gorillas.

You’ll be collected from the airport.

Day 1

Your driver-guide will meet you at your hotel or residence by Lake Bunyonyi or Kabale between 5:00am and 6:00am. After enjoying an early breakfast, you will travel to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park or Mgahinga Gorilla National Park.

Once you arrive, there will be a briefing at the park headquarters before you hike into the rainforest to search for a troop of magnificent mountain gorillas. When the gorillas are located, you will have one hour to observe these majestic animals up close. Your rangers will guide you on how to interact with them, emphasizing that you should maintain a distance of about 10m (33ft) while enjoying the view.

The duration of the gorilla trekking can range from 2 to 8 hours, depending on the movement and location of these gentle giants. After your gorilla trekking experience, you will drive back to Kabale or Lake Bunyonyi, where your driver-guide will drop you off at your hotel, marking the end of your adventure.Main Destination:Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (Gorillas)
